This course is presented by Samantha DeAlmeida Roman, President of ABC, NJ

Samantha DeAlmeida Roman is a dynamic public affairs professional active in advocacy, politics, policy, and state government. “She is a recognized force in the Statehouse”, - William McGrath, Chair of the ABC NJ Board of Directors. DeAlmeida is widely recognized as one of New Jersey’s most influential young professionals. She has been named to Insider NJ’s 2019 Insider 100 Millennials, 2020 Insider 100 Millennials and Save Jersey’s “Right Women to Watch.” She was recently a nominee for the Monmouth County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s prestigious ATHENA award for women’s leadership. Sam was deputy director of government relations and policy at the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA). Sam is a strong example of mentorship and can often be found in the hallways of the NJ State House, with young men & women shadowing her, helping young people learn about careers in government relations, and how to achieve their goals.
