CALL FOR MEMBER FIRM PARTICIPATION: Sign up to host HS Student tour of your firm!

AIA Central New Jersey is inviting member firms and practitioners to participate in a section-wide series of open-houses to attract local high school and college students as well as the general public who may be considering careers in architecture and design or may simply be interested in what architects do.

Firms will open their doors from 3pm to 6pm on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023, and host any and all who sign up to visit.  Detailed agendas for the afternoon will be at the discretion of each hosting firm. AIA Central New Jersey offers the following suggestions:

Through your work, discuss what you find inspirational in design, art, and culture.
Discuss how you integrate sustainable practices into your work.
Discuss how you integrate design and artistic expression into your practice.
Discuss how your work integrates with the greater community and addresses cultural development and understanding.
What practical challenges you have faced in merging the realms of art, business, and technology.
Show a set of drawings, renderings, models (always a hit!), software.
