Proper kitchen ventilation is essential to creating healthier, safer, and higher-performing residential environments. This course will examine the relationship between kitchen ventilation and indoor air quality, including how to properly size and position ventilation systems for optimal performance. Participants will also review important specification considerations such as blowers, ductwork, and makeup air, while comparing wall-mounted, island, and downdraft ventilation systems.

About the Presenter

Bianca Olsson joined the Sub-Zero Group East team as Trade Representative in early 2019 after 12 years as a residential and hospitality interior designer in the Southwest and New York City. Bianca’s coverage area includes Manhattan, New Jersey, and Westchester County. She is the recipient of several design awards and has participated in the Sub-Zero Kitchen Design Contest 2015-2016. Her firsthand experience in the design industry and appreciation of luxury appliances has given her a specific insight and understanding when working with the trade community during the specification process and beyond.
