About IDKC
Since 1978, the Faith & Form Awards have honored excellence in architecture, liturgical design, and art for religious spaces. Twenty winning projects from across America, Spain, and China received awards this year. The Faith & Form Awards are presented through a collaboration between the AIA Interfaith Design Knowledge Community (IDKC) and Partners for Sacred Places.
About the Presentation (2 LU)
This live virtual session highlights the 2026 Faith & Form Religious Architecture & Art Award recipients through a thoughtfully organized program of project presentations paired with reflections from jurors.
Attendees will explore how designers and artists shape sacred environments while navigating the intersection of technical requirements, spiritual expression, cultural identity, and community values. Award-winning teams will present the concepts behind their projects, discuss their design approaches, and share insights into the challenges and opportunities involved in creating spaces for worship and reflection.
Jurors will provide additional perspective on the review process and discuss emerging themes in contemporary sacred design.
The Faith & Form Awards celebrate outstanding achievement in architecture, liturgical design, and visual art for religious settings. This program is offered in collaboration with the AIA Interfaith Design Knowledge Community (IDKC) and Partners for Sacred Places.
