Meet Gary Steck, General Manager, Alber's Fireplaces

Gary brings nearly 40 years of experience in the hearth industry, beginning his career alongside his father, a skilled stonemason specializing in custom fireplaces. After completing a three-year apprenticeship in Switzerland and earning journeyman Hafner status in masonry stove building, he went on to study Business Administration, Marketing, and Management.

Over the course of his career, Gary has held leadership roles across technical training, product development, and executive management, helping to grow and transform multiple organizations within the industry. Since 2020, he has led Albers Fireplaces through a period of significant growth, guiding the company through the challenges of the pandemic while driving its digital evolution.

Today, Gary continues to build on Albers’ 50-year legacy, leading a dedicated team with a focus on quality craftsmanship, innovative design, and a commitment to exceptional customer and designer experience.
