Posted on Jun. 10, 2024  /  0

FAM at the HAM hosted by AIACNJ

AIACNJ had a Fabulous Family time at the Hunterdon Art Museum

Originally built as a grist mill, the Hunterdon Art Museum building functioned as a mill under the name Dunham-Parry for over a centuryIt was later purchased by residents and turned into an arts centerAfter a fire swept through Clinton and the mill sustained severe damage, the trustees worked together to save and improve it as a rich cultural institution for the community.

The picturesque setting of the Hunterdon Art Museum in the Town of Clinton along the River made for a perfect AIACNJ family day. Our event featured private tours of the museum's exhibits, showcasing a diverse range of artistic expressions, mediums and subject matter.

One of the highlights of the day was an interactive art workshop, where members and their children were encouraged to express their creativity while crafting unique sliding view artwork in mixed media!

The event not only strengthened our AIA Central NJ community but also provided families with an enriching collaborative creative experience. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who joined us for this event, making it a perfect day of family fun and cultural exploration!
